The villa is set on a one-acre property and it is surrounded by beautiful mature tropical gardens, just 150 meters (450 feet) from the beach. It is located one kilometer (0.6 mile) from the center of a small fisherman village where you will find an excellent grocery store, convenience stores, restaurants, boutiques, fishing and diving operators. The property is all fenced and secure. The immediate environment is rural with low density of construction and very quiet. Some of the nicest beaches of Costa Rica are located in our province called Guanacaste. The villa features seven tastefully decorated rooms with AC, private bathroom, and ceiling fans. The attractively furnished living/dining room is adjacent to an atrium that keeps the house fresh and comfortable at all times. The ceiling is 38 feet high. Daily maid service. You will enjoy the pool area surrounded by mature tropical plants and coconut trees, it is a great place to relax and share experiences on excursions. There is a good size swimming pool shared with six studios, many long chairs, and a “rancho” with a BBQ.We offer daily maid service and free laundry service and security at night.Villa del Sol was first known as a B&B. In 1998, the vocation was changed when we started to rent the villa as a private vacation rental. You can find references on us by consulting the travel guides. We are originally from Canada and we owned Villa del Sol for 14 years, we will be very happy to share our long experience in Costa Rica with you. The Liberia International airport is just 25 minutes away. |

April 30, 2007, We read about Villa Del Sol in moon's book. It was recommended and said to be Canadian-owned “we are Canadians from the Kitchener water 100 area" so here we are! This place is one of the nicest we've seen during our 10 day journey across the Monteverde, Central High Lands and Nicoya Gold Coast. July 6, 2007, When I was invited by my family to vacation with them in Costa Rica, I did not know what to expect. This has been the most adventure trip I have ever had. Your house feels like home to me almost immediately and the perfect place for me to lay my head after a strenuous day. I recommend you for offering such a well outfitted and maintained accommodation. Sept 20, 2007, Villa Del Sol was my home for twelve days and I can honestly say that it truly felt like home. There is a very quaint ambiance to this place that makes it so easy to settle in. Every inch of this place looks like a postcard, from the lush greenery to the gorgeous view from the balcony. The town is minutes away and the beach is so close you can hear the roar of the ocean all day. The pool lights up at night making it perfect for a lovely late night swim. The staff is wonderful, doing everything they can to make you comfortable, and so sweet and friendly. The kitchen is fully equiped, there's wireless internet on site.......what more could you ask for? Great thanks to our host and his staff for making our stay so very memorable.
